Brandi Stegall, Counseling Intern
Brandi Stegall is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lamar University, with an expected graduation date of May 2026. She previously earned her bachelor’s degree in general studies from Lamar, concentrating in psychology and family studies.
Over the past year and a half, Brandi has worked closely with children, teens, and young adults navigating behavioral and emotional challenges. Her experience includes helping individuals and families cope with day-to-day stressors, major life transitions, and relational concerns. It was in this work that she discovered a deep passion for helping others heal, grow, and reconnect with their strengths.
Brandi believes that every individual holds the innate capacity for healing and resilience. She sees therapy as a collaborative process—one that honors each client’s story while creating space for insight, safety, and hope. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, she brings a calm, supportive presence that fosters trust and empowerment.
Her clinical interests include emotional regulation, family and relational dynamics, trauma recovery, and self-identity. She draws from systemic, strengths-based approaches and values the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for growth and change.
Outside of her academic and clinical work, Brandi enjoys traveling with her husband and their two sons, practicing martial arts, experimenting in the kitchen, and reading good books.
Brandi provides counseling services under the supervision of a licensed clinician as she completes her practicum and internship training.
