Are you a counseling, psychology, or social work student seeking a supportive environment to complete your practicum or internship?
At NewPath, we believe in cultivating the next generation of compassionate clinicians. Our interns don’t just shadow — they shine.
You’ll work alongside experienced supervisors who are committed to helping you develop confidence, clinical skill, and your unique therapeutic voice.
Our training program includes:

Direct supervision with licensed clinicians

Weekly team consultation and skill-building

Exposure to a variety of therapeutic models and populations

Supportive mentorship focused on professional growth and self-care
We accept graduate students entering their practicum or internship phase and typically host students across three consecutive semesters.
Practicum students primarily engage in co-counseling opportunities alongside experienced clinicians, allowing them to build confidence and clinical insight in a supportive environment.
Internship-level students may qualify for our Internship Specialty Program, which offers a carefully structured caseload of individual clients. Through this program, new clients receive five complimentary sessions, followed by reduced-rate therapy, making mental health services more accessible while allowing interns to gain meaningful, hands-on experience.
