Therapist | Maternal Mental Health | Pregnancy, Postpartum & Family Wellness
"You deserve support, too."
Motherhood is often described as one of life's greatest joys, but it can also be one of its most overwhelming transitions. Whether you're preparing for a baby, adjusting to life postpartum, navigating the emotional demands of parenting, or simply trying to reconnect with yourself, you don't have to carry it all alone.
Taylor Brown, LPC, is passionate about helping women, children, adolescents, and families navigate life's challenges while building stronger connections with themselves and the people they love. She believes that healing happens when people feel supported, understood, and empowered to care for their mental and emotional well-being.
Taylor earned her Master's degree in Counseling and Development with a specialization in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling and holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She is especially dedicated to maternal mental health and believes that comprehensive care during pregnancy and postpartum should include emotional and psychological support in addition to physical healthcare.
She works closely with women experiencing prenatal and postpartum challenges, anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, identity changes, and the emotional demands that often accompany motherhood. Taylor is passionate about increasing awareness of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and helping mothers recognize that struggling does not mean failing.
Her counseling style is warm, calming, and holistic. Taylor believes the mind, body, and spirit are deeply connected and that healing often requires attention to all aspects of wellness. She creates a judgment-free environment where clients can safely explore their experiences, identify underlying challenges, and develop practical tools for lasting growth and resilience.
In addition to her work with women and mothers, Taylor also supports children, adolescents, and families navigating trauma, emotional challenges, behavioral concerns, and life transitions. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Somatic Approaches, Mindfulness-Based Practices, and Bibliotherapy to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
Taylor believes every person's story is valuable and every healing journey deserves compassionate support. Whether you're preparing for motherhood, adjusting to life after baby, supporting your child's emotional growth, or working through personal challenges, she is committed to helping you find balance, strength, and confidence along the way.
