Stephanie Fulbright, LPC
Therapist | Children & Teens | Trauma, Motherhood & Life Transitions
"You don't have to have it all together to begin healing. Let's start together."
Life can be messy, complicated, and overwhelming. Sometimes you're trying to hold everything together while quietly wondering how much longer you can keep doing it. Other times, you know something needs to change—you just aren't sure where to begin.
Stephanie Fulbright, LPC, believes you don't need to have all the answers before coming to therapy. You simply need a place where you can show up as you are.
With nearly two decades of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults, Stephanie creates a warm, accepting space where clients can slow down, make sense of what they're experiencing, and begin moving toward healing. Rather than walking ahead of her clients or telling them where they should go, Stephanie considers it a privilege to walk alongside them as they understand their stories, recognize their strengths, and discover what comes next.
Therapy Approach
Stephanie earned her Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development from Lamar University and has worked across education, behavioral health, private practice, and inpatient psychiatric care. This diverse background has given her experience supporting clients with concerns ranging from everyday stress and life transitions to trauma and serious mental health challenges.
Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. Stephanie draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), reminiscence therapy, play therapy techniques, and other evidence-based interventions based on each client's age, needs, and goals.
Stephanie is especially passionate about helping children build emotional resilience, supporting adolescents through the challenges of growing up, empowering women through motherhood and life's transitions, and partnering with families during difficult seasons.
She also has experience working with individuals experiencing trauma, PTSD, psychosis, and serious mental illness. Stephanie understands the importance of creating a therapeutic relationship rooted in safety, trust, authenticity, and stabilization—especially when life or mental health has begun to feel overwhelming.
For clients who desire it, Stephanie can also incorporate Christian faith into the counseling process.

Beyond the Therapy Room
Outside of counseling, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, painting, researching mental health, and finding joy in life's quieter moments.
She believes healing isn't limited to what happens inside the therapy room. Often, it also happens in ordinary moments—in connection, creativity, rest, laughter, and learning to offer ourselves the same grace and compassion we so readily give to others.
