"You don't have to have everything figured out to move forward."
Life can feel overwhelming when you're trying to manage work, family, relationships, responsibilities, and the endless expectations that come with being an adult. Whether you're navigating parenthood, recovering from a difficult relationship, facing a major life transition, or simply feeling stressed and unsure of your next step, you're not alone.
Lindsey Powell, LPC, helps individuals and families move from feeling overwhelmed and stuck to feeling more confident, capable, and in control of their lives. She believes that even during life's most challenging seasons, people have strengths they can build upon and resilience they may not yet recognize.
With a background in Family Studies and counseling, Lindsey brings a holistic perspective to therapy. She understands that our relationships, experiences, and environments all influence our mental health and emotional well-being. Since beginning her career in 2008 providing school-based family prevention services, she has been passionate about helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity.
Lindsey works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, grief, relationship difficulties, family conflict, parenting challenges, and life transitions. She especially enjoys supporting individuals through significant changes such as divorce, motherhood, family adjustments, and periods of personal growth.
Her counseling style is warm, encouraging, and empowerment-focused. Lindsey helps clients identify their strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical strategies for managing stress and overcoming obstacles. She believes the way we think influences the way we experience life and works with clients to build healthier perspectives that support long-term growth and emotional wellness.
Whether working with children through play-based approaches, helping teens navigate emotional challenges, or supporting adults through difficult transitions, Lindsey tailors therapy to meet each person's unique needs and goals. Her aim is to help clients create a life that feels more balanced, intentional, and fulfilling.
