Kristi Powell, LCSW
Therapist | Life Transitions | Relationships, Grief & Faith-Based Counseling
"You are capable of healing and change. My role is to walk alongside you, offering tools, perspective, and support as you face life's challenges."
Life doesn't stop changing. As we move through different seasons, we may find ourselves facing unexpected challenges, difficult decisions, relationship struggles, grief, caregiver responsibilities, or questions about who we are becoming. Even when we are doing our best, these transitions can leave us feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or uncertain about what comes next.
Kristi Powell, LCSW, helps adults, couples, and families navigate life's most challenging seasons with compassion, practical support, and hope. With more than 14 years of experience, she believes that healing and growth are possible at every stage of life and that even small changes can create meaningful transformation.
Kristi works with individuals experiencing anxiety, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, caregiver stress, family challenges, and emotional overwhelm. She is particularly passionate about supporting adults who are balancing multiple responsibilities while trying to care for themselves and maintain meaningful relationships.
Her counseling style is warm, encouraging, and straightforward. Clients appreciate her ability to create a safe and supportive environment while also providing honest feedback, practical tools, and fresh perspectives that help them move forward. She believes therapy should be a place where people feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and empowered to make positive changes.
Drawing from Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches, Kristi tailors treatment to each client's strengths, goals, and unique circumstances. Whether someone is coping with loss, adjusting to a major life change, strengthening relationships, or seeking greater emotional balance, she focuses on helping clients build resilience and create a more fulfilling life.
For clients who desire it, Kristi is also able to integrate faith into the counseling process, providing support that honors both emotional and spiritual growth.
