Keitha Van Ness, LPC
Therapist | Life Transitions | Relationships | Creating Positive Change
"You have more strength, resilience, and ability to create change than you may realize."
Life doesn't always go according to plan. Sometimes we find ourselves overwhelmed by stress, struggling in relationships, facing unexpected challenges, or simply feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve us. During those seasons, it can be difficult to see a path forward.
Keitha Van Ness, LPC, believes that meaningful change is possible for everyone. Her goal is to help clients better understand themselves, build on their strengths, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives. She recognizes that while many people experience similar struggles, every person's story is unique. That's why she approaches therapy with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each client's individual experiences.
Keitha works with individuals, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, workplace stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and emotional challenges. She is passionate about helping clients identify obstacles, develop practical solutions, and gain confidence in their ability to move through life's difficulties.
Before becoming a counselor, Keitha spent seven years as an educator and was recognized by the Texas House of Representatives for excellence in science education. Her background in teaching continues to influence her counseling style today. She enjoys helping people better understand themselves, learn new skills, and develop tools that support long-term emotional wellness.
For more than 15 years, Keitha has worked in a variety of counseling settings, including nonprofit organizations, the juvenile justice system, a battered women's shelter, and private practice. These experiences have given her a broad perspective and a deep appreciation for the resilience people demonstrate in the face of adversity.
Clients often appreciate Keitha's warm, approachable nature and her ability to balance compassion with practical guidance. She believes therapy should be a collaborative process where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
