"There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't." — John Green
Life can feel overwhelming when you're carrying the weight of anxiety, depression, grief, relationship struggles, addiction, or painful experiences from your past. Sometimes it feels like you're repeating patterns you never chose, struggling to move forward, or wondering if things will ever truly change.
Kacie Dawson believes healing begins when people feel seen, understood, and empowered to take ownership of their story. She knows firsthand that growth is possible—even when life feels difficult—because her passion for counseling was shaped by her own journey of healing and her desire to become a cycle breaker.
Growing up surrounded by mental health struggles and addiction, Kacie witnessed the impact these challenges can have on individuals and families. Through her own healing process, she discovered the power of understanding yourself, breaking unhealthy patterns, and creating a life that feels authentic and meaningful. Today, she is passionate about helping others do the same.
Kacie works primarily with young and middle-aged adults navigating anxiety, depression, addiction, grief and loss, relationship concerns, and life transitions. She is especially passionate about helping individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they want to live.
With a background in Addiction Counseling, Kacie brings both professional training and personal understanding to her work with individuals impacted by substance use and recovery. She understands that addiction affects not only the individual but also the families and relationships surrounding them. Her goal is to help clients build healthier coping skills, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with the life they want for themselves.
Kacie's counseling style is warm, encouraging, and collaborative. She utilizes a blend of Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify strengths, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop practical tools for everyday life. She believes clients are the experts on their own lives and works alongside them to create meaningful goals and lasting change.
Clients often appreciate Kacie's genuine passion for helping others heal and grow. Her mission is to help people reconnect with themselves, build confidence in their ability to overcome challenges, and become the healthiest version of themselves.
