Therapist | Self-Worth, Relationships & Personal Growth

"Together, we'll uncover the peace and purpose that's already within you."

Many of life's struggles begin with the relationship we have with ourselves.

When self-doubt, anxiety, unhealthy relationship patterns, past wounds, or negative beliefs take root, they can affect every area of life—from our confidence and decision-making to our relationships, careers, and overall well-being.

Christavia James, LPC-S, believes that healing begins from within. She helps individuals and couples identify the patterns, beliefs, and experiences that may be holding them back so they can move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and emotional freedom.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor, Christavia provides thoughtful, compassionate, and empowering support for clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, relationship challenges, addiction recovery, identity exploration, and life transitions. She believes lasting change happens when people move beyond simply managing symptoms and begin understanding the deeper roots of their struggles.

Her counseling style is collaborative, direct, and supportive. Christavia helps clients connect the dots between past experiences, current challenges, and future goals while providing practical tools that promote long-term growth and healing. She works to create a safe space where clients feel accepted, understood, and empowered to become the healthiest version of themselves.

Since entering the mental health field in 2012, Christavia has worked with adolescents, adults, at-risk populations, individuals with developmental disabilities, clients with co-occurring disorders, and those impacted by trauma, abandonment, and complex family dynamics. These experiences have strengthened her passion for helping people break free from limiting beliefs and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

As both a counselor and clinical supervisor, Christavia is also deeply committed to reducing mental health stigma, particularly within minority and underserved communities. She believes every person deserves access to compassionate care and a space where they can feel seen, heard, and valued.

Whether you're seeking personal growth, relationship healing, emotional wellness, or a deeper understanding of yourself, Christavia is ready to help you begin where lasting change starts—with yourself.
